What's New - June 2021

Making sense of data one protein at a time is not only unpractical, it's time-consuming and can often result in research bias. Mass Dynamics has  just released a powerful, intelligent and fast Enrichment Analysis (EA) feature that delivers seamless linking of LC-MS data to Gene Set Enrichment Analysis (GSEA) using CAMERA.

Mass Dynamics - What's New - June 2021
Feature 1

Make sense of Mass Spectrometry (MS) data with lightning fast Enrichment Analysis

Processed your Mass Spec data? Tick.

Experiment quality looking good? Tick.

Staring at results comprising thousands of identified and differentially expressed proteins? Eek!

The feature uses Gene Ontology (GO) and Reactome databases which surfaces significantly enriched or over-represented gene sets in relation to your experiment results. Presently it allows a more comprehensive evaluation of MS data for human, mouse and yeast analyses.

Geeking out with other collaborators has never been easier. In this short video tutorial Mass Dynamics Computational Biologist and Data Scientist, Joseph Bloom shares how to get started with Enrichment Analysis.

If watching videos isn't your thing, we also have an Application Note you can download or try Enrichment Analysis on a sample experiment.

Feature 2

Automated Quality Control (QC) Reports - now exportable

The QC Report contains 3 major sections - Experiment Health, Feature Completeness and Identifications. Being one of our most popular features, we are excited to share that it is now exportable.

Due to the automatic nature of the QC Report and data processing, members are able to quickly review and assess experimental results, confidently interpret results and now share with collaborators via the new export feature.

Feature 3

We now accept Tandem Mass Tagging (TMT) Data

So many members have already been busy running their raw files or MaxQuant LFQ DDA data to run and analyse their experiments so we're proud and very excited to offer another data format so soon: TMT! Start your TMT experiment now.

If your TMT data isn't quite ready but you'd like to see a TMT experiment in action, simply click "Use sample data" to see Mass Dynamics using sample data from a provided paper.
